Co-Event with Hendersonville’s LGBTQ+’s social group.
November 14 @ 11:30 am - 1:30 pm
It’s that time of year again, the season of thankfulness. For many, this is a time to spend with family, while others in our community cannot. So, let us gather together to share food, laughter, and stories at a potluck-style picnic. Bring your favorite seasonal dish, but please post in advance, so we do not get too many sides, mains, or dessert dishes. If you don’t feel your culinary skills are up to sharing with a group, we will also need plates, napkins, utensils, cups, and drinks. Whatever you plan to bring, please POST IN THE COMMENTS so we know we have everything to make an enjoyable picnic.
This event will be held at Jackson Park shelter number 1. COVID is still causing health problems in our area, so we hope that by having this event outside, with everyone respecting others’ space, we can gather safely to share a meal.
There is a small fee to cover the cost of renting shelter, which will be collected at the event.
