Apply for this Role

We count on our community partners to generate most of the content in the virtual center.  We count on our content editors to ensure that submissions meet our community standards and guidelines.  We re looking for a handful of volunteers who are willing to commit 2-3 hours a week to review content submitted by our community.  Specifically, we are asking you to:

  • Commit to 1 or more specific days when you will be available to check online submissions. (We need coverage each day).
  • Review, tag, and approve new and revised submissions.
  • Notify our team of any issues that require review.  Suggest improvements to the site.
  • Respond to email requests to create submissions from submitted content.  (Example: someone may share a facebook event and ask us to create an event from the information).

This is an ideal role for someone who wants the flexibility to work from home according to their own schedule.  You need a computer and a good internet connection.  You should have a good eye for detail and clarity.  On some days, the actual workload will likely be minimal. What is important is that we have coverage every day.  Because this is a brand new community service, we expect to learn and adapt a lot as our launch progresses. We are particularly eager for volunteers who love to think of ways to continually improve new services.

Siljoy Maurer

Holistic Perspectives P.O. Box 333, Enka, NC 2872  Phone: (828) 333-0103  | siljoy@me.com or  www.HolisticPerspectives.com For many years now I have been mentoring men and women from all walks of life. It continues to be my greatest joy to accompany someone from “just being ok” into thriving! As a Mentor & Healer I partner with my clients in creating authenticity, wellness and deep contentment, in whatever area of their lives they are seeking change. The combination of giving very practical, livable tools for direct “next steps” while “holding the big picture” and then manifesting that big picture often feels like this: a new client brings me their life or life situation in a jigsaw puzzle box, they lost the lid and forgot what the picture on it looked like. I am good at knowing that picture and then guiding my clients/mentees to put all the puzzle pieces together.
