We are having a Prom!

Each year we recognize our LGBTQ+ elders with a 'Senior Prom' to kick off the Blue Ridge Pride Festival!  And we need some help.

Are you creative? Are you organized? Are you willing?  Then we need you to serve as 'Prom Chairs'.  We are looking for 2 individuals to organize, create and implement our annual prom.   You won't be alone in your tasks but you will need to serve as leaders for the event.   Sometimes co-chairs can accomplish a lot more as it requires less time. As we are an all volunteer driven organization we value your time. This event is for our Generation Plus (GP) program which serves people over the age of 50. Call them elders, call them older adults. We call them GenPlus!

Skills needed-

Computer skills- Marketing skills including social media attention- People skills- Creative skills.  And in general a fun person who enjoys planning a party.

This committee serves under the Direction of Butch Thompson, GP Program Director. It involves finding space for the event, lining up entertainment, creating a theme, decorations, food and beverages. Yes we are old enough to drink! We will work together with our Development committee to find the dollars and we expect to stay within a minimum budget. What's the budget? Let's discuss the possibilities.

The date is set for Saturday, September 18th.

Do you have what it takes? Do you have friends you want to pull into a committee and make it a group effort?

Let's do this!~

Holistic Perspectives P.O. Box 333, Enka, NC 2872  Phone: (828) 333-0103  | siljoy@me.com or  www.HolisticPerspectives.com For many years now I have been mentoring men and women from all walks of life. It continues to be my greatest joy to accompany someone from “just being ok” into thriving! As a Mentor & Healer I partner with my clients in creating authenticity, wellness and deep contentment, in whatever area of their lives they are seeking change. The combination of giving very practical, livable tools for direct “next steps” while “holding the big picture” and then manifesting that big picture often feels like this: a new client brings me their life or life situation in a jigsaw puzzle box, they lost the lid and forgot what the picture on it looked like. I am good at knowing that picture and then guiding my clients/mentees to put all the puzzle pieces together.
