	We need 2 to 3 leads to help to manage our combination volunteer-contractor crew in setting up the festival early on Friday night and again early Saturday morning. We set up several crews of 2 to 4 people whose job is to set up tents, tables, chairs, and tent weights as quickly as possible. They also set up signs and barriers. We need leads who can help to oversee these crews. Strictly speaking, the lead does not need to engage in a lot of heavy lifting. Their chief job is to make sure that things are getting set up in the right place and in the right order. Organizational skills under time pressure are most important. An ability to lend a hand is a big plus. Time Commitment: 1-2 meetings ahead of festival; Friday Night (5-9) and Saturday morning (6-10). Responsibilities We will provide all of the instructions and schematics. Your role is to serve as the central point of Serve as the central point of coordination to work crews. As able, lend a hand to the work (e.g., setting up banners and tents) Commitment Ideally, we will have 1-2 leads each on Friday night, Saturday morning, and Saturday night. Before Festival: 2-3 hours to review plans and maps. Friday: 4:00 - 10:00 pm - Be onsite to form, direct, and assist crews. Saturday: 6:00 am to 11 am: Be on site to form, direct, and assist crews. Saturday Night: 6:00 pm to midnight. What You Need While heavy lifting is not a requirement for this role, it is useful if you are able to lend a hand as needed with hand trucks, tables, and tents. This role is all about directing crews to move things to staging areas and then to move them from staging areas to where they are needed and setting them up.
