| We need someone with good organizational skills who likes to play host to people. The VIP tent is used by our sponsors and performers. We serve a food buffet, snacks, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
We are looking for someone who likes to find creative ways to cater on a budget. Your role would be to design and prepare the setup, then to oversee the volunteers.
Responsibilities
- Plan menu and decorations.
- Organize VIP Kit Box ahead of festival so that everything you need is in one place (e.g., decorations, check-in sheet).
- Availability to attend 1-2 organizational meetings (alternative times offered).
- Order and pick up food and other supplies. Bring to festival Sat 8-11 am.
- Set up the VIP tent food, beverages, and decorations (we will set up the tents, signs, and furniture).
- Greet and oversee 2 volunteers per shift. Their role is to control access to the area and to keep food and drinks in supply.
- Trouble-shoot as needed (e.g., contact golf cart for more ice or other beverages).
- Close down the VIP tent and repackage supplies. Provide feedback for next year.
Time Commitment
- 4-8 hours before the festival.
- Intense effort at start and end of festival day (8 am to 11 am; 6 pm - 8 pm).
- Drop-ins to VIP area at start and end of shifts.

- Transportation for picking up food orders would be very desirable.
