The Aura Home Aims To Provide Housing And Support To Homeless Women Veterans. The Aura Home is a non-profit organization projecting to provide safe, stable housing to help Buncombe, Henderson & Haywood Counties homeless women veterans readjust to civilian life. It will also offer the support of living with other women who understand what they’re going through. With a sense of camaraderie and assistance, women veterans can begin to heal and transition into a fulfilling life.
Aura Home empowers Women Veterans to be vibrant and self-sufficient to thrive in their community.
Aura Home reaches out to Women Veterans seeking assistance with housing and is a resource for homeless prevention.
Aura Home provides temporary housing and access to services to facilitate the individual’s stabilization for movement to permanent housing.
Aura Home offers information and assistance to apply for Veteran’s Affairs benefits with the guidance of a certified Veteran Service Officer or Veterans Affairs staff.
Aura Home Provides Support When There Is None From Family And Friends.
