The LGBT Elder Advocates is a local grassroots organization founded to address the aging issues and concerns of the LGBT community through Land of The Sky Council. WNC citizens advocating for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Older Adults.

They serve to enrich the lives of the older LGBT community. They accomplish this through sponsoring education opportunities, promoting equity of services, providing social services and caregiver support, promoting intergenerational cooperation and creating social opportunities for older LGBT individuals.
