Asheville Gay Men’s Chorus

A voluntary, not-for-profit community chorus for gay men and allies. In addition to our holiday and summer concert we perform for various events throughout WNC and beyond. Traditionally we also perform at Blue Ridge Pride festival, World AIDS Day and our annual cabaret show in February. We sing for fundraisers, weddings and other community events.

Meetings: Asheville Gay Men’s Chorus performs many concerts during the year. We start rehearsals in late August and generally take the month of July off.

Restrictions / Fees: Open to all men- gay men and allies. No member is denied participation based on financial limitation. Basic membership dues per semester are $50. Additional expenses may be incurred for attire, costumes, props, special rehearsals, and special events, but this is minimal. WE NEVER want financial restraints to stop anyone from singing. We have scholarships that help cover cost for a variety of items”
