Boone Unitarian Universalist Fellowship
The Boone Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is an intentionally diverse and inclusive community offering a refuge to search for spiritual and intellectual growth to people of all identities. Through religious education, programming, and strengthening of community partnerships, Boone Unitarian Universalist Fellowship seeks to support human rights and social justice across the High Country.
The Boone Unitarian Universalist Fellowship strives to be a community of love and service for each other and our neighbors. We dedicate our membership, staff and facilities to that end.
Unitarian Universalist congregations affirm and promote seven principles, which we hold as strong values and moral guides in our actions.
Principle 1. The inherent worth and dignity of every person; LOVE IS OUR DOCTRINE;
Principle 2. Justice, equity and compassion in human relations; AND SERVICE OUR PRAYER;
Principle 3. Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations; AT PEACE WITH ONE ANOTHER;
Principle 4. A free and responsible search for truth and meaning; THE QUEST FOR TRUTH OUR SACRAMENT;
Principle 5. The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large; SEEKING KNOWLEDGE IN FREEDOM;
Principle 6. The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all; SERVING HUMANKIND IN FRIENDSHIP;
Principle 7. Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part; TO DWELL IN HARMONY WITH ALL LIFE;
