Eleanor Health Foundation

Eleanor Health Foundation was founded with the belief that all of those in need have access to evidenced-based, whole-person addiction treatment, prevention and recovery services regardless of their health insurance coverage, or ability to pay. We expand equitable access to recovery through education, research, support for social determinants of health, and treatment scholarships.

Mission: To expand equitable access of addiction prevention, treatment, and recovery services by:

  • Providing patient aid scholarships for treatment services to those without insurance or means to pay.
  • Providing support for social determinants of health for services not typically covered by other sources.
  • Educating the public through awareness activities including events, materials, organizing positive sober social activities, and advocating for expanded access to care.
  • Providing support for research of treatment and recovery outcomes that will save lives and enhance the quality of life for those individuals and families struggling with addiction.

Other: We are not owned, but as a 501c3 are an all women board and >50% women staff at present, with 50% of staff LGBTQ (which is not hard at 4 staff!) We will be seeking Living Wage certification, but do not have that as of yet due to being fairly new.
