Go Local Asheville
Go Local Asheville was founded 12 years ago as a membership based organization that preserves and supports the local independent business community. Currently at over 520 business members, there is no cost to become a member. We ask that businesses provide a perk or discount to Go Local cardholders. Go Local cards give access to the businesses discounts. Proceeds support the local independent business community with a portion donated to Asheville City Public Schools.

Local independent businesses are better positioned to respond to the needs of our community, our cultural organizations, and nonprofits, and are inherently tied to Asheville’s future.

Through our directories, print and on-line, our smartphone app, social media, workshops and events, monthly newsletter, local partnerships and collaborations, our one goal is to assure we preserve and support what makes Asheville so unique.
