Jonas Gerard was one of Asheville’s most beloved artists prior to his death on September 25, 2020. He was known for his brilliant colors and textures that bring joy to people's hearts. Jonas’ Riverview Station Studio is not only home to his art, but is also available as an event space. Inside this 5,000 sq. ft. space you will be cradled in the vibrancy of his work spanning 60+ years. At Jonas' gallery in the River Arts District, you are welcome to touch the art and bask in the joy and soulfulness of his work. Linger as long as you like while each painting or sculpture takes life.
– Open year-round, 7 days a week, 10 am to 6 pm with easy access and plenty of free parking.

Located in Riverview Station, 191 Lyman St, Studio #144, in Asheville’s River Art’s District. Studio #144 is on the Southside on the building with an exterior entrance. There is an abundance of free parking.

Other: Jonas Gerard Fine Art has long sponsored a variety of causes in WNC with a focus on Equality, Veterans, Children, Homelessness, the Arts and Women's issues. Jonas' most famous work is the official Bicentennial Portrait of the United State, presented to President Ford in 1975. "We the People" is part of the permanent collection of the Smithsonian.
