WELCOMING COMMUNITY SERVICES
Thrive
Thrive is a nonprofit that helps move people with mental health and housing needs from surviving to thriving. We work with people who have severe and persistent mental illness and provide them with skills they need to live more full lives with their illness. We also have a housing program with case management services to eliminate homelessness for people in Henderson, Polk, Rutherford, and Transylvania counties.

DETAILS
Thrive offers 3 programs to help move people from surviving to thriving.
- Clubhouse Day Program – a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program that serves adults with severe and persistent mental illness and at least 2 forms of impairment in their lives. The program offers support from trained behavioral health staff. At the Clubhouse, members work to improve skills of daily living, relationships, and jobs and also have access to a 24/7/365 crisis line.
- Housing Case Management – Case Managers use a housing-first model to connect households experiencing homelessness to permanent housing. Case management is offered on an individualized basis to encourage housing stability and prevent return to homelessness.
- Representative Payee Services – program provides financial management support for clients receiving SSI or Disability income and who need assistance with finances. This program eliminates evictions and utility disconnections for clients.
