Verner Center for Early Learning

At Verner Center for Early Learning, we provide 5-star comprehensive care and education to over 300 children and their families at three centers and through a home-based Early Head Start program. Our centers are located in East Asheville/Swannanoa on Riceville Road, in the Emma Community on the campus of Emma Elementary School, and at the Montmorenci United Methodist Church in Candler. Our blended program accepts child care subsidy vouchers as well as tuition-paying families. Verner is also an Early Head Start and NC Pre-K provider. We were founded to ensure that all children have access to high-quality, affordable early care and education.
