My name is Katelyn Regan, I am a gender-affirming therapist, LGBTQ community member, and doctoral candidate at Widener University who is beginning to recruit for my research study. I am researching the desired medical interventions of individuals who identify outside of the gender binary and their experiences of attempting to access gender-affirming medical care.
- Participants will be asked to complete one 45-60 minute recorded video-based interview via Zoom.
- All interviews are voluntary, private, and confidential.
- Participants will receive a $25 gift card as compensation for their time upon completion of the interview.
To participate, you must …
- Be between the ages of 18-29 years old;
- Identify as nonbinary, genderqueer, or some gender identity outside of the binary; and
- Desire to access or have already accessed medical interventions to affirm your gender.
I am especially looking for participants who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.
