Advocacy Intern (part-time, seasonal)
Job responsibilities include:
Voter registration at events
Train others in how to register voters
Assist voters with obtaining ID and name change documentation
Research priority advocacy issues for LGBTQIA+ community
Draft communications on policy priorities
Host periodic postcarding/phone banking opportunities
Event/Outreach Support
Phone and Email Support during assigned work hours
Other duties, as related and assigned
Experience and training in voter registration is required.
Experience in nonprofits and with Canva and social media preferred.
This job is intended for university/college students studying the following that includes, but not limited to: Political Science, International Relations, Public Policy or Public Administration. This internship will help to give the student the professional experience needed to excel post-graduation.
We are happy to work with your professors in applying this work for course credit in marketing/communications.

Job Type: 2024 Temporary-Summer and Fall semester
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 8 per week
